WhatsApp Welcome Messages in UChat
The WhatsApp Welcome Messages trigger in UChat allows you to send an automatic welcome message to users when they first interact with your WhatsApp bot. However, this feature needs to be activated in the WhatsApp Manager on the Meta website.
Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Enable Welcome Messages on Meta
Before setting up the trigger in UChat, ensure that Welcome Messages are enabled in the WhatsApp Manager. This is done via the Meta website.
Go to the Meta Business Suite: Log into your business account on Meta.
Access WhatsApp Manager: From the main dashboard, navigate to the WhatsApp Manager section.
Activate Welcome Messages: Under the messaging tools, turn on the option for Welcome Messages. This setting allows your WhatsApp bot to send automatic greetings.

Step 2: Setting Up the Trigger in UChat
Create a New Trigger: Inside your UChat bot, go to Automation and select Triggers. Click + New Trigger and choose WhatsApp Welcome Messages from the list of available triggers.

Configure the Trigger: Once the trigger is selected, you can set up the conditions and the subflow of your welcome message. This will be the first subflow messages a user receives upon interacting with your bot for the first time.

Step 3: Testing the Trigger
After setting up the trigger and activating the welcome messages in WhatsApp Manager, test the feature by initiating a new conversation with the bot from a new bot user account and without old conversation in whatsapp app;. Verify that the welcome message is sent as expected.
Important Notes
The Welcome Messages must be activated within Meta's WhatsApp Manager for this trigger to function correctly.
