How to Create Viber Chatbot
Viber is another popular messaging app. In this article we will discuss how to link Viber Bot with UChat Viber Channel.
Viber channel can be accessed from the left hand side of the screen where all the channels are listed.

From Viber Channel, click on ‘Add New Viber Bot’. (as shown in the image below)

To create a Viber Chatbot in UChat it is required that we connect Viber Bot (from Viber Partner Account) with UChat by entering Viber Bot Token.

Registering App For Viber Bot (Post 2024 Update)
As of 05.02.2024, our partners and business clients can apply to create chatbots on Rakuten Viber by reaching out directly to their team. Once the application is qualified, the business client can proceed to sign the contract and agree to the Terms & Conditions.

Each calendar month, chatbot owners are charged a maintenance fee of EUR 100 per bot (or as otherwise may be agreed in writing via a signed addendum), as well as the bill for the delivered chatbot-initiated messages.
Unlimited session messages are included with the monthly maintenance fee.
Maintenance fee shall no longer be required as of the deactivation of a bot.
Copy the Viber Bot Token and paste it in the UChat Viber channel. Click ‘Add’ at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Now click on ‘Create Flow’ to start creating your Viber Chatbot.

Viber Channel Limitations
1- Location
Share location option is only available on mobile phones and not on desktop
2- File
The file uploaded by the user will be sent to Viber and UChat will get a URL link for the file. You are unable to put this URL link in a "Send Message - File" because the link from Viber is not a direct file link.
Alternatively, to send the file back to your user, you can use "Send Message - Text" to print the link, the user can tap the link to download the file.
3- Send Message
For Each: JSON should be under 2000 characters.
Ecommerce: The JSON should be under 2000 characters so you might be unable to list 10 products per page according to your products information length (try 5 or 6 per page).
